Extra Innings - Warwick College Prep Team - Extra Innings – Warwick is proud to announce that the college prep program that has seen many players move on to college baseball in just two years is growing in 2009!
Tip Fairchild Baseball Clinics - are Pro Pitching clinics conducted by Houston Astros pitcher Tip Fairchild. During the offseason he uses much of his time to work with local Little Leagues, Middle Schools, and High Schools to educate their baseball pitchers with his insight and knowledge of the pitching aspect of baseball.
Rhode Island Tides Baseball Club - The Tides have now partnered with the Extra Innings College Select Program. The goal of the partnership is for the Tides 14 and 15 year old teams to act as a feeder program to EI College Select which fields teams at the 16 to 18 year old level. Over the past couple of years many of the players who participated with EI who have gained college baseball scholarships have actually been former Tides players. So a partnership is seen as a natural fit. Through this working partnership both programs benefit and ultimately the State of Rhode Island benefits as players from the Ocean State now have a viable option to gain the necessary exposure needed to garner a baseball scholarship.
