Zack starred at Pilgrim during his high school days, earning the Division I - South Player of the Year award in 2002 and leading the Patriots to the state title series at McCoy Stadium. He started his college career at the University of North Carolina before transferring to the University of Rhode Island in 2003 and exploding to stardom, setting program records for victories, strikeouts and innings pitched while leading the Rams to the NCAA Tournament in 2004. Zack was drafted in the 9th round by the St. Louis Cardinals organization following his junior season and finished up the 2008 season with their Double-A affiliate in Springfield, MO. Zack spent the 2009 season with the Worcester Tornadoes of the Can-Am League. Zack is available for 1-on-1 or group pitching lessons and will be an instructor at Extra Innings pitching clinics.
