The Extra Innings Fall Baseball League continues to expand and provide a quality, structured environment for baseball players. Our fall leagues give players a chance to continue playing through September and early October.
This is an instructional league and no standings will be kept. The goal is to improve each player’s skills for the following season and to have fun doing it. Certified umpires will work each game.
Extra Innings Fall Baseball League
The Extra Innings Fall Baseball League begins its second season in September 2006. Play begins the weekend of September 9 & 10, 2006, with 5 different age divisions. The league continues to expand and provides a quality, structured environment for baseball throughout the fall months. This year the schedules will include games against teams from our Wrentham and West Bridgewater facilities giving local players an opportunity to see what the competition is like in other areas.
The goal of the league is to provide area ballplayers with an opportunity to improve their skills, play in the best weather of the year and have lots of fun doing it.
The Extra Innings Fall Baseball League is an instructional league and no standings are kept. Every player and team plays 6 doubleheaders (12 games) on the dates specified. Certified umpires will work each game.
Players can register as individuals and play for a team sponsored by Extra Innings and coached by our staff or play as a member of an independent team. Click here for more information or to register for the 2006 season.
Individual Player Registration
Players may register as individuals and play on a team sponsored by Extra Innings and coached by one of our staff members. Extra Innings staff members include current or former professional players, college and high school coaches. Registration includes 12 games and a minimum of 5 practices held at Extra Innings. All expenses are covered by the registration fee including team equipment, umpires fees and a full uniform which the player may keep. Players must provide proof of health insurance.
Total cost: Only $225.
Team Registration
Full teams may also register to play in the Extra Innings Fall Baseball and Softball Leagues. Teams must provide their own uniforms, team equipment, game balls, umpires fees for 6 games (payable the day of the game) and a home field. Extra Innings will handle the scheduling of games and all umpires. All teams will have 6 doubleheaders scheduled.
Total cost: $450.
